I agree. I had no idea they were a thing, and now I feel like I should be building one for a friend’s kid (my own is not likely in the immediate future).

Also, the steering wheel on the jet/rocket one may be the same as on your car. Looks similar except for the bolt. Some restored (or insanely well preserved) versions:
